How did it all start for you?

My passion for cars started at an early age when my father took me to see the races that were held in Cluj-Napoca, hill-climb races on Feleac, the street circuit, etc. After I grew up, I continued to follow this passion and went (as a spectator) to a lot of races that were held in Cluj and Brasov (that’s where my grandparents are from).

What is the most difficult thing about being a rally driver?

I think the most difficult thing is to find the determination to follow this path once you’ve discovered this is what you want to do with your life and the fact that you have the talent for it. Of course, there’s the financial side of things where you need to find a budget to fuel your passion.

If you weren’t a rally driver, what would you be doing?

I would have liked to be a medic.

What is the best/worst road car you have ever driven?

The best cars were the Lamborghini Gallardo & Porsche Carrera 4S and the worst one was a ZUK.

What would your ideal sandwich have on it?

I don’t have an ideal sandwich.

What car(s) do you own now and what’s your daily driver?

The car I own and drive on a daily basis is my Ford Mondeo Vignale SW.

Favorite car of all time?

I don’t have a favorite car but I do prefer family cars, wagons - such as my current Ford.

Do you have any points on your driver’s license?

No.

RWD, AWD or FWD and why?

AWD because I like skiing and I need the traction on snow.

If you could be someone else for a day (dead or alive) who would you be?

I’ve never thought of that and even now that I think about it, I still don’t have an answer.
